Looking for pet-friendly apartments in Cedar Rapids, IA? Look no further than The Retreat at 6th Apartments! We are one of the few apartments in Cedar Rapids that allow dogs and cats. Now your pet has the opportunity to relax by your side and enjoy the comforts of your apartment home.

Our Pet Policy

• The Retreat at 6th Apartments allows dogs and cats.
• No pets allowed on new carpet or carpet less than 2 years old, pets must be inoculated, proof of age, all deposits and fees must be paid on or before the date the resident takes possession of the apartment.
• There is a limit of 2 pets per apartment.
• We do not accept Pit Bull, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Wolf Hybrid, or any mix of these breeds. Property staff reserve the exclusive right to make the final determination as to dog breed. We reserve the right to deny any pet application based on the breed, size, and/or behavior of the animal.

Pet Fees

• There is a monthly pet fee of $35 per pet.
• For pets over 1 year of age in an apartment there is a three hundred ($300) non-refundable pet fee required at move-in.
• For pets less than 1 year in age there is a twelve hundred ($1,200) pet fee required at move-in. Three hundred ($300) is non-refundable and the remaining nine hundred ($900) is refundable at move out provided there is no pet damage.
